Does your conscience bother you? TELL THE TRUTH!

Do you know why Tuesday is important?

Tuesday, Whiggy Tease Nation, is September 8th – the anniversary of the day that President Gerald Ford addressed our nation to tell us that he was giving Richard Nixon an unconditional pardon.

Most of the nation screamed with agony during the speech, thus missing what we feel was the most critical passage of the address. Ford told the nation flat out that “Watergate does not bother me.”

Then Ford changed his tone to a questioning, almost accusatory one. “Does your conscience bother you?” he asked/challenged his fellow Americans.

The few who were done screaming over the pardon then probably screamed anew, but this time, “No, idiot, my conscience does not bother me.”

To which Ford challenged us again. “Tell the truth,” he insisted.

It was almost lyrical. That's why we had to make a shirt about it.

Truth be told, this shirt is one of our favorites in the entire Whiggy Tease line. You should buy it today.
