The Whiggy Tease focus groups went very well. Response to the opening of the Whiggy Tease store has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re selling merchandise not only to friends but to total strangers across America and in Europe.

Please note that we said “overwhelmingly positive,” and not “completely positive.”

“The site’s a little red, and I’m blue,” said a member of Whiggy Tease Nation. “I’m very blue.”

To be clear, Whiggy Tease is going to pander, er, sell to folks of all political persuasion. It’s true that right now that there is more pro-Republican stuff on the site right now than there is Democratic stuff. Why?

Well, Republicans tend to have more money and their credit cards are less likely to be rejected, so we try to sell to them first. Also, it’s funnier making Republican stuff. You should see the Nixon items that we have in development. Nixon is comedic gold.

But here’s the main reason – we don’t have The Obama Font yet.



We have lots of pro-Obama items floating around in our brains. Some anti-stuff too for you haters. But it doesn’t look right without the Obama font. It’s called “gotham,” and we don’t have it yet. We’re hoping to buy, borrow or steal it soon, and when we do, we’ll start selling Obama stuff.

It’s also come to our attention that there is an Obama handwriting font.

We’re working on that too.

So keep buying the Nixon stuff for now, we’ll get around to Obama swag in a few weeks.
