With a little help from our friends.

Almost by definition, folks who are friends of Whiggy Tease are creative and clever. So, when they have an idea for a product, we’ll create it and sell it and keep all the money for ourselves.

With that, we’d like to share two Whiggy Tease items based on ideas of our friends.

The first is from Eric in Toledo. Our original Abraham Lincoln line didn’t test well in the focus groups. Because it was lame. Then, Eric suggested we focus not on Lincoln’s time as President, but his time in Illinois as a lawyer. Eric wrote the following and we turned it into a somewhat authentic looking product.

This is the framed tile. But in the Whiggy Tease Lincoln store, you can get shirts, tote bags, mouse pads, tank tops, clothes for kids and even a keepsake box.

It’s authentic looking stuff, down to the retro spelling of the word “counsellors.”

Next up is Amanda from Minnesota. We haven’t seen Amanda in 15 years, but she contributed a faboo idea for an item for your exiled Republican friends.

Amanda reports that the first ever Republican Party meeting was held in a little white school house in a place called Ripon, Wisconsin. Sure, you’ll find people in Iowa and other places who dispute this, but we believe Amanda.

The Old School Republican line is for sale in Aisle One. You can get shirts, mouse pads and tote bags. Aisle One is also where we keep our Henry Clay, Herbert Hoover and Civil War items.
