The Winston Churchill Comeback Tour

In honor of The British Open, or what we guess is now being called The Open , Whiggy Tease is proud to announce we’re pandering to our British fans by announcing the first product in our Winston Churchill line.

Before we get to that – did you notice The Open is now using the Obama Font? It’s as if everyone has the Obama Font except us at Whiggy Tease.

Anyway, it may come as a shock to those who are not students of history, but after helping lead the Allies to victory in World War II, Churchill was rewarded by being booted from office.

However, voters came to their senses and returned him to Number 10 Downing Street in 1951.

Here’s what we like about Churchill’s campaign in 1951. His initial campaign swag featured no words. It didn’t have clutter like “Return Churchill” or “Tories 1951” or “Don’t Call it a Comeback.” Instead, it featured a simple blue silhouette of Churchill. That’s all he needed. One of the most quotable men of his century didn’t need any words to get his point across.

We’ve reproduced the logo for shirts for the fellas…

Shirts for the ladies…

And for Tom Watson…

We here at Whiggy Tease are not giving up. We will never give up. We know you’ll shop in our new Churchill store. Come back soon for more swag.
